ASBX (Amazon Software Builder Experience) is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead one of our highest-priority, company-wide initiatives: dramatically improving the productivity of our software builders. With thousands of developers building across every corner of Amazon — from retail and AWS to devices, entertainment, and logistics — even incremental improvements in how our builders work translate into massive impact and faster innovation for our customers.
This is not an incremental optimization role. You will drive a bold, multi-year strategy to fundamentally transform the developer experience at Amazon scale. You will operate at the intersection of engineering platforms, tooling, AI/ML-assisted development, organizational processes, and culture change; working directly with executives across the company to align investment, remove systemic blockers, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. - 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 10 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
