Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Carry a pager/cell phone for communication, information, emergency, and on-call situations
- Up to 20% travel within geographical work area is required. Some travel outside traditional work area may be requested, including internationally.
- Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Linux/Unix Administration
- The ability to sit in front of computer for entire scheduled 8-hour shift with appropriate breaks while maintaining a high level of alertness and attention to detail
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain
- Work at heights and from ladders
