What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Dispatcher position at Amazon DSP?
An Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for experienced, high energy dispatchers. The dispatcher is responsible for scheduling the drivers routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
We are in need of full time dispatchers: Morning and Evening shifts are available (HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE). No CDL Required!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use the dispatch program to track driver route progress
- Properly assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job
- Updating daily template with driver/route information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times
- Deliver route when necessary
Qualifications:
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Great communication skills
- Time management skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- 1-2 years dispatch experience a plus
- 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- · Excellent written and verbal communications.
