DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a Data Center Audit Technician to join our growing team within Global Network Deployment. Scope of work includes physically walking data center floor space to visually identify, capture and record data collected. Report audit findings through ticketing systems with clear and concise communication to capacity planning.

Technicians will provide information gathering of our data center floor space to validate system information or rectify system inaccuracies where present.

- Ability to exhibit good written and oral communication skill.
Physical Requirements
All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more
- Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
- Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs)
- Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment
- Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
- Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired
- Push or pull heavy objects into position
- Work in a noisy environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent diploma
- • 1 years of experience using Windows, Mac and/or Linux Operating systems in a corporate setting, or relevant education/certifications
- • Proficient use of Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
- • High school or equivalent diploma
- • 6 months of relevant IT experience
- • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 Years working in a data center environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
