The Indirect Supply Chain Operations Center (iSChOC) Programs team is a team working in a new ambiguous program standardizing blanket purchase order creation & management, developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI), defect research and resolution, and AP Hold reduction. These services are currently being provide by iSChOC Programs team for multiple business organizations through North American. The iSChOC Programs team follows Amazon Corporate guidance for hybrid schedules, allowing team members to work from home up to two days per week with the other three days spent working in our office in Tempe, Arizona.
As an Indirect Supply Chain Specialist for the Programs team, you will own multiple trades for maintenance, repairs, and operational goods/services which include: including blanket purchase order creation, approvals, and management. In addition, you will work with manager and cross functional team to drive process improvements and standardized processes.
Key job responsibilities
In partnership with the Indirect Supply Chain Leadership, provide support for the fulfillment centers, including: creation of blanket purchase orders, communicating with stakeholders to drive …, perform routine quality control checks and defect resolution, and purchase order change request.
- Develop deep knowledge of non-inventory items, facility services, facility equipment and align with multiple team to drive process resolution
- Ensure best practices are being shared and implemented
- Work in partnership internally to develop innovative solutions to provide Indirect Supply Chain support to the Operations network
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 1 year of experience in supply chain operations
- Experience in supplier/ vendor relationship management
- Experience in procurement
- Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
- Lean/Six-Sigma knowledge
