Role Overview
The Graphic Designer is a mid-weight design role for someone with strong visual craft, strong Figma experience, and the ability to work across a wide range of design needs.
This role requires a designer who can take a brief, understand the goal, and create clear, well-crafted visual solutions. The work will include digital layouts, website and product assets, marketing visuals, presentation materials, social graphics, print files, and brand system support.
The right candidate should be comfortable working across different teams and project types. They need to be organized, detail-oriented, and able to move work forward without needing constant direction.
This role sits within the Design Department and works closely with Content, Marketing, Product, Web, and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design assets across content, marketing, product, web, digital, social, presentation, and print formats.
Use Figma to create website assets, product graphics, campaign visuals, presentation designs, and reusable design components.
Support the development and maintenance of brand systems across Amazing Life products and platforms.
Translate briefs into clear, effective, and on-brand design solutions.
Create strong layouts with clear hierarchy, good typography, and careful attention to spacing, rhythm, and detail.
Prepare accurate production-ready files for digital and print use.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, writers, content leads, product owners, and other team members.
Manage multiple projects at the same time while meeting deadlines.
Keep working files, folders, and design components organized.
Apply feedback accurately and improve work through review cycles.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to a high standard of creative work.
Help improve consistency, clarity, and quality across Amazing Life design outputs.
Required Skills And Experience
3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.
Strong portfolio showing work across digital, brand, marketing, and layout design.
Strong Figma experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Experience designing for digital platforms, websites, campaigns, social media, presentations, and product-related assets.
Ability to work within brand guidelines and established design systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Clear communication skills.
Ability to receive feedback, ask good questions, and make revisions efficiently.
Preferred Skills
Experience with web or product design workflows.
Experience creating or maintaining Figma design systems.
Basic understanding of UX and responsive design principles.
Basic motion design knowledge.
Brand design experience.
Experience designing for content, curriculum, ministry, publishing, or family-focused products.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
