As an Associate Copy Editor, you’ll help refine content for accuracy, clarity, and brand voice, while supporting editorial workflows. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about helping churches communicate Biblical truth effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Accuracy & Quality
- Copy edit assigned content for clarity, grammar, and consistency
- Verify the accuracy of Scripture references and Bible stories
- Ensure supply lists and resource references are correct
- Manage assigned tasks using Monday.com project management tools
- Collaborate with the editorial team to fill content gaps and maintain high standards
- 02 years of professional editing or proofreading experience
- Working knowledge of Scripture and Bible stories
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Experience in ministry, education, or nonprofit settings
- Familiarity with church communication across denominations
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign®, Acrobat Pro®, and/or Adobe Illustrator®
