Amazing Health LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Saint Paul, MN. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans including psychopharmacology management
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while monitoring for efficacy and side effects
- Provide psychotherapy and supportive counseling as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, therapists, and primary care providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota (APRN)
- Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric specialization
- Active DEA license and prescriptive authority in Minnesota
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric treatment
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care skills
