Pre-K Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among preschool children
• Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and structured educational exercises
• Support children with special needs through tailored interventions and collaboration with specialists in early intervention and special education
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
• Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschoolers with diverse needs
• Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Ability to work effectively with children across different developmental stages
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as early literacy education or math instruction for young learners
• Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare standards, and child welfare practices
• Skilled in lesson planning for various subjects including physical education, literacy, math, and social-emotional learning
• Experience working in daycare settings is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports children’s overall well-being and development

Pay: $17.00 per hour
