We need Strong Tech Leads, Not Managers. Client is looking for SampleManager technical resources with 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience who can still do development and configuration.

The Technical Lead SampleManager LIMS will be responsible for leading technical teams in implementing, enhancing, and supporting SampleManager LIMS solutions. This role involves direct collaboration with customers, requirement analysis, solution design, development, and delivery of high-quality LIMS systems aligned with organizational standards and client expectations. The candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle and partner with multiple teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team in SampleManager LIMS implementation projects.
- Engage with customers to understand enhancement requirements and provide scalable, effective solutions.
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and prepare detailed requirement specification documents.
- Develop, configure, and implement enhancements or revisions to meet client needs.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time and align with company standards, SOPs, and best practices.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients on all technical aspects of SampleManager LIMS projects.
- Evaluate client requirements and develop robust, efficient solutions.
- Participate in designing quality software through effective design reviews, peer code reviews, and unit testing.
- Be involved in the full system lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of application software within time and cost constraints.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple teams and clients across project stages.
- Develop/Configure modules and components such as:
- Sample workflows
- Stock module
- Instrument module
- Instrument Interfacing using Integration Manager
- Report Designer, Forms Designer, Label Designer
- Sample Scheduler, Batch Management, Lot Management
- Plate Handling, Stability, SQC
- SM-IDI, PIMS, Dashboards
Position Requirements
- 7 to 12 years of experience in SampleManager LIMS implementation and support.
- Extensive experience developing solutions within LIMS environments.
- Strong background in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a team, with limited or no supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
- Flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and migrate to new technologies; ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
