A PeopleSoft Financials Solution Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle PeopleSoft Financials solutions.
The role bridges business finance requirements and technical ERP capabilities, ensuring efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation & Configuration
Lead end-to-end implementation of PeopleSoft Financials modules
Configure modules like:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Management (AM)
Billing & Expenses
Customize workflows and business processes
2. Business Analysis
Gather and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders
Translate requirements into functional specifications
Recommend best practices aligned with ERP capabilities
3. Solution Design
Design scalable financial solutions within PeopleSoft
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Optimize system performance and usability
4. Integration & Testing
Work with technical teams for system integrations
Conduct:
Unit testing
System Integration Testing (SIT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability
5. Support & Maintenance
Provide post-implementation support
Resolve functional issues and user queries
Manage upgrades and patches
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise between finance teams, IT, and vendors
Conduct training sessions for end users
Prepare documentation and user manuals
