Responsible for end-to-end administration of Unix-based platforms and Exadata infrastructure supporting mission-critical database workloads. Focus on high availability, performance optimization, security compliance, and lifecycle management across AIX, Solaris, and legacy Unix environments.

Technical Skills
- Unix system administration (AIX, Solaris, HP‑UX) across production-critical environments
- Hands-on experience in managing Oracle Exadata infrastructure (compute nodes, storage cells, network fabric)
- Strong expertise in Unix OS administration, system configuration, and lifecycle management (build → patch → upgrade → decommission)
- Proven capability in OS performance tuning, capacity planning, and kernel-level optimization for database workloads
- Experience in patching, OS upgrades, and maintaining legacy Unix platforms with stability focus
- Hands-on with high availability and disaster recovery setups (cluster support, failover, DR drills)
- Strong scripting expertise using Shell scripting (Korn/Bash) for automation and operational efficiency
- Expertise in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance frameworks (audit readiness)
- Experience in backup/restore support and coordination with database teams for recovery operations
- Exposure to monitoring, alert handling, and troubleshooting OS-level issues in tightly coupled DB environments
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent) and runbook-driven operations
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
