Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Daycare Director to lead and manage our early childhood education center. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of teachers and caregivers to deliver exceptional early childhood education
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Oversee staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Ensure all staff are trained in first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and child safety procedures
- Manage classroom environments to foster positive behavior management and inclusive learning experiences
- Step in to classrooms for coverage as needed
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to create engaging learning environments
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and staff collaboration
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as child supervision, behavior management, and classroom instruction effectively
Requirements include but are not limited to:
-Associates or Bachelors degree in child development, child psychology, or early childhood education AND
-1 year experience performing administrative responsibilities
OR
-2 years of full time child care experience in a childcare center AND
-1 year experience performing administrative responsibilities

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
