You're always ready to lend a hand, and you pitch in with a positive attitude. Under the direction of the foreman or project leader, you quickly and accurately follow instructions. You start by ensuring the site is properly cleared and that all hazardous materials are removed. Safety-oriented, you put up fencing, temporary structures, and safety cones to block off the work area.Working outdoors, you perform a variety of manual labor tasks such as raking, digging, and moving materials and equipment. You're handy with power tools and comfortable using items such as drills and generators. Eager to learn new things and improve your skillset, you occasionally operate machinery such as a skid steer, roller, and loader. As a team player, you care about the well-being of your crew and the success of the project, and you proactively report any issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
