Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract discussions and negotiations with leadership and key stakeholders
- Negotiate reimbursement rates, fee schedules, participation terms, and contract requirements
- Develop strong relationships with payer contacts, leadership, and the credentialing team
- Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the contracting process to drive agreements towards completion
- Track contracting activity, renewals, outstanding terms, negotiations, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate documentation and contract records
- Support the organization's growth by identifying opportunities and closing agreements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong contract negotiation and closing skills with experience discussing reimbursement rates, fee schedules, and provider participation agreements
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- 3 or more years of Government and Commercial Payor Contracting experience, including negotiations, reimbursement, contract terms, amendments, renewals, and agreements
- Behavioral Health contracting experience a plus
- Understand and interpret Hospital contract language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience
