Target Salary Range*: $48,000 - $52,000.

Position Overview:
Amatriot is seeking a Hardware Installation Technician II to support our team in Washington, DC. This position provides hands-on technical support for the installation, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting of Windows-based computer systems. The role supports both domestic and overseas deployment activities and may require frequent OCONUS travel. An active or interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and support of new Windows based computer systems.
- Install Image and software on laptops and workstations.
- Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities.
- Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.
- Coordinate with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs.
- Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content.
- Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes.
- Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- HS Diploma and 5 years of experience in Information Technology
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
- Skilled in troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues.
- Experience in Customer Service.
- Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Other Requirements:
- Must have an active or interim Secret Clearance or above.
- Must be willing to travel outside the country up to 60% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to type
