Duties
- Process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures and industry regulations.
- Manage and reconcile cash drawers daily, maintaining precise records of all cash movements and ensuring compliance with banking policies.
- Assist members with their banking needs by providing information on products such as loans, savings accounts, and other financial services.
- Identify opportunities for upselling banking products and services to meet customer needs while promoting financial literacy.
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and following established security protocols.
- Support loan origination processes by collecting necessary documentation, explaining loan options, and processing applications efficiently.
- Utilize banking software and Microsoft Office tools to maintain accurate records, complete reports, and manage customer data securely
Experience
- Previous experience in credit union or banking is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn about financial products is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling, basic math skills, and processing transactions with high accuracy.
- Knowledge of financial compliance standards and industry regulations ensures adherence to legal requirements.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
