Amarillo Pathology Group is seeking a full time Cyto Prep Technician to join our highly trained team.

The Cyto Prep Technician will perform duties in a fast-paced setting as workflow demands. This position is responsible for entering patient and specimen information into the laboratory computer system. Maintaining patient confidentiality is required. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus. This position requires excellent communication skills, organizational skills, work ethic and attitude. Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Duties include assisting with the preparation and processing of fluid specimens to include data entry as well as supply management and inventory control. Must possess the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and walk moderate distances. Work environment will require personal protective equipment utilization for blood-borne pathogens.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM-7:00 PM
