Diesel Mechanic

Amarillo Machinery Company is now hiring Field Service Mechanic. We are a dealer of several manufacturers and a rental company for many brands of construction and aerial equipment.

Job Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction/heavy equipment industry
• Demonstrate competency in the diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment product lines using computer skills for diagnostics.
• The ability to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)
• The ability to perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable in trouble shooting various heavy equipment product lines.
• Possess a valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Safe work habits and history; must pass physical and have clean drug screen.
• Exceptional customer service as well as communication skills are essential to success in this position.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience the following product lines: Kawasaki, Mustang, JLG, Genie, Kobelco, Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Ingersol Rand, New Holland are a plus.

• Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
