Now Hiring: Full-Time Rural Waste Collector
Location: Amarillo, Texas and surrounding areas.
Position Type: Part-Time (4 days per week)
Pay: $600 per week (guaranteed flat rate for scheduled shifts)
Schedule: Flexible 4-day workweek – early morning shifts (typically starting 6-7 AM), approximately 20-30 hours/week depending on route efficiency. No weekends required.

We are a local waste management service dedicated to providing reliable garbage and recycling collection to homes, farms, and small businesses across rural routes. If you enjoy outdoor work, physical activity, and independence on the road, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect household garbage, recycling, and yard waste from designated rural routes and curbside locations.
- Safely load waste into the collection vehicle (manual lifting and/or using hydraulic equipment where available).
- Follow assigned daily routes efficiently and complete collections on schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness around collection points and ensure proper disposal at designated facilities.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and working in all weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required – training may be available).
- Physically fit and able to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly, bend, climb, and work outdoors in various weather (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliable transportation to/from work site and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following routes and safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer service in rural communities.
