Job Summary
We’re looking for a professional, friendly, and organized Host to be the welcoming face of AMARI. You’ll be responsible for managing the guest experience from the moment they walk in the door—greeting them warmly, handling reservations, and coordinating seating efficiently and thoughtfully.
Key Responsibilities
Greet all guests warmly with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor
Manage reservations using our booking system (SevenRooms)
Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate accurate wait times
Escort guests to tables, provide menus, and inform them of their server
Answer phone calls professionally and provide accurate information about the restaurant
Coordinate seating with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
Monitor the dining room and entrance to anticipate guest needs
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
Uphold company standards for appearance, communication, and hospitality
Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, or accommodations
Support the team in maintaining an elevated yet approachable guest experience
Qualifications
Previous experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Familiarity with reservation systems a plus
