Looking for Full time or part time FLEXIBLE hours Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant willing to help MD with follow up pain care. Current immediate need is Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu or can get full time M- F as we build patients. Our wait time is 2- 4 wks now for new patients.
Assist in managing healthcare team of 6-10 members. Manage follow up care (16-24 / day ) who have already been seen by the physician as new patient visits. Complete supervision may be needed initially and ongoing bases in the future. Being a team player includes coordinating patient visits, phone calls, pharmacy calls, payer clarifications, referral provider care coordination.
Regular office tasks include timely assessments of patients health by interviewing patients; obtaining and updating relevant medical history, physical exams and management plans. Upbeat team spirit and excellent attitude towards work is essential with our team. Contribute positively to the practice and able to identify and plan tasks that needs to be completed in timely manner.
Ideal candidates function independently and making clinical decisions in the best interest of patients and practice. Reliable, trustworthy, humble, easy to work in teams. Work hours are 8-5 pm Mon -Fri NO ON-CALL; SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OFF. Lunch hours 12-1 pm. Automatic reward system in place for higher value activities. Professional appearance and good work ethic is needed. Pay for performance with ongoing evaluations by team members and physicians.
