Role
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support housekeeping colleagues to maintain an exceptional standard of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of arrival rooms, occupied rooms, and turn-down service.
- Coordinate and oversee the minibar operation.
- Ensure prompt and professional response to all guest requests and telephone enquiries.
- Lead regular briefings and ongoing training sessions with housekeeping colleagues.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping logbooks and records.
- Monitor guest feedback and support continuous improvement in housekeeping services.
- Ensure all housekeeping pantries and janitors’ closets are clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Oversee the guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a similar setting.
- Proficiency in spoken English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and a professional demeanour.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
