Job Description:
The CCSS Specialist must be available to work Monday – Friday. Must maintain a flexible schedule and be available to work early mornings, days and provide services in any of the agency’s offices, outside community, schools and/or homes.
The CCSS Specialist provides community-based, rehabilitative support to individuals and families dealing with behavioral health, substance use, or serious emotional disorders. The CCSS Specialist promote recovery, independence, and social integration. Services happen in real-world settings—such as homes, schools, or community spaces—rather than strictly in an office.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required plus three years’ experience working the target population; OR
AA degree in a human service field plus two years’ experience working with the target population; OR
Related Bachelor’s degree plus one-year relevant experience working with the target population.
Related college degrees include Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Education, Special Education and Human Services.
