Position Overview
We are seeking an Graphic Designer with a strong background in product development design and large-scale catalog creation to join our dynamic creative team. This role plays a critical part in shaping the visual identity of Amanda Blu’s product lines, collaborating closely with our product development, marketing, and sales teams to bring compelling designs to life.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, detail-oriented creative professional with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, print production, and illustration, along with experience managing multiple large projects. A deep understanding of branding, typography, layout, and packaging design is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product Design Development: Create compelling, on-brand product designs for Amanda Blu’s fashion accessories and loungewear lines.
- Oversee Large-Scale Catalogs: Design, layout, and manage production of bi-annual wholesale catalogs, ensuring a visually engaging and cohesive presentation.
- Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to translate concepts into refined, market-ready designs.
- Create Sales & Marketing Materials: Design print and digital collateral, including packaging, sales sheets, presentations, and in-store displays.
- Photography & Editing: Assist in product and lifestyle photography, including planning, mood board development, and post-production editing.
- Project Management: Balance multiple projects with shifting priorities, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality design standards.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve Amanda Blu’s visual identity across all creative outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-8 years of graphic design experience, preferably in fashion, accessories, or consumer goods.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (strong creative and illustration skills required).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign (must be comfortable managing large, style-driven documents).
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint & Adobe Acrobat for creating compelling presentations.
- Proficiency in Photoshop & Lightroom (experience in photography is a plus).
- Understanding of Print & Digital Production (experience with print-ready and digital files).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also excelling in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with packaging design and branding in fashion or accessories.
- Knowledge of web design and digital marketing asset creation.
- Experience in lifestyle and product photography.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs for product samples or equipment may be required.
