Assistant Concessions Manager - Seasonal 2026

Anderson Farms is looking for a Seasonal Assistant Concessions Manager for our Fall Festival!

The Assistant Concessions Manager is a hands-on leader who supports the Kitchen Manager in the daily operation of the concessions kitchen. This position works alongside the concessions team to ensure food is prepared safely, efficiently, and consistently while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

The Assistant Kitchen Manager helps oversee daily kitchen operations, supports and trains team members, and ensures food production keeps pace with guest demand in a fast-paced environment. Serv Safe certification required or be willing to obtain certification.  

Schedule:

• Position may begin in early September and continue through early November 2026.

• September 8 - 22: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm (some flexibility)

• Primary weekday schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday September 23 – October 31 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

• Weekend schedule: Saturday and Sundays - flexible hours available including days and evenings/nights

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Assisting the Kitchen Manager with the daily operation of the concessions kitchen.

• Leading and supporting kitchen staff while working alongside team members throughout each shift.

• Helping assign workstations and managing team lunch and break schedules.

• Preparing large-batch cooking for guests and staff meals. 

• Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering, receiving, unloading, stocking, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.

• Labeling, dating, rotating, and properly storing food products in accordance with food safety standards.

• Ensuring compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

• Assisting with opening and closing kitchen procedures.

• Maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, including the concessions barn, kitchen, food preparation areas, storage areas, and the bakery shed.

• Assisting with cleaning both the interior and exterior of concessions facilities to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

• Training and coaching team members on food preparation, equipment operation, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.

• Assisting with customer service concerns and helping resolve issues in accordance with farm policies.

• Communicating effectively with managers and concessions team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
