About the Role
We are seeking a Lead, People Process Excellence to join our People team and drive operational excellence across core HR processes, programs, and systems. This role will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, standardizing workflows, improving service delivery, and helping scale People operations through thoughtful process design, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate combines strong HR business process knowledge with analytical rigor, change management capability, and a passion for creating simple, scalable, employee-centered solutions.
What's Expected from you (Job Responsibilities)
Process Design & Optimization
· Lead the review, redesign, and continuous improvement of end-to-end People processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, performance cycles, employee data management, and other core HR operations.
· Identify pain points, bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and process gaps, then recommend and implement scalable solutions.
· Build and maintain standardized process maps, SOPs, playbooks, workflows, and operating guidelines.
· Establish process governance and controls to improve consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Operational Excellence
· Drive simplification and standardization across People programs, policies, and operational practices.
· Define and track key operational metrics, service levels, and process performance indicators to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure People processes integrate effectively with payroll, finance, legal, IT, and business teams.
· Support audit readiness and compliance by ensuring processes are well documented and consistently executed.
Systems & Enablement
· Partner with HRIS, People Operations, and functional stakeholders to translate business needs into workflow, automation, and system enhancement opportunities.
· Help evaluate where automation, tools, or system configuration can reduce administrative burden and improve employee and manager experience.
· Support implementation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and process changes within the People function.
· Create training and enablement materials to support new ways of working.
Change Management & Stakeholder Partnership
· Serve as a trusted partner to People leaders by bringing structure, discipline, and clarity to operational challenges.
· Lead change efforts tied to process improvements, ensuring smooth rollout, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable adoption.
· Influence teams to embrace continuous improvement principles and a more data-driven, scalable operating model.
· Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements, align on future-state design, and drive decisions.
Skills we are looking for:
· 7 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, Process Excellence, HR Program Management, or a related field.
· Strong experience improving business processes within HR / People functions.
· Demonstrated ability to map processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements that scale.
· Experience working cross-functionally with HR, payroll, finance, legal, and systems teams.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Analytical mindset with experience using data to diagnose issues and measure results.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and operational discipline.
· Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a high-growth, global, or matrixed organization.
· Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies.
· Experience with HR systems, workflow tools, ticketing systems, or automation platforms.
· Exposure to service delivery models, shared services, or People analytics.
· Change management experience preferred.

Base Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000 USD (annual), plus performance pay incentive
In accordance with local pay transparency laws, this reflects the expected base pay range for this role in the United States. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, training, and location.
