Job Profile
Amagi is seeking a high-impact Account Director to own, retain, and expand a portfolio of strategic customers. This is a role for someone who combines commercial rigor, executive presence, and customer-centric thinking in a fast-scaling, global technology environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll sit at the center of Amagi’s growth engine, partnering with strategic media and entertainment customers to drive retention, expansion, and long-term value. You’ll work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Solutions Engineering, Delivery, Support, and Finance to ensure customer success and scalable growth.

You know how to operate with executive maturity, build trust with large enterprise customers, and navigate complexity across both customer organizations and internal teams.

You are equally comfortable leading an executive business review, negotiating a renewal, aligning internal stakeholders, or working through an escalation with calm and credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership & Growth
Drive growth by winning new logo customers within the segment and closing new business opportunities.
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts by driving renewals, expanding existing partnerships, and maximizing revenue across assigned customers.
Develop account plans aligning customer priorities with Amagi’s partnership and platform capabilities.
Identify and advance growth opportunities.
Lead renewals, pricing discussions, contract amendments and expansions.
Build and maintain multi-threaded relationships across business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
Customer Partnership & Executive Engagement
Serve as a strategic advisor by understanding their goals, challenges, and priorities across key business areas.
Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning.
Communicate value realization and future opportunities.
Build credibility with senior customer leaders through insight, responsiveness, and strong follow-through.
Anticipate risks mitigate proactively.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution
Partner cross-functionally to drive coordinated execution.
Ensure alignment on renewals, expansions, product needs and escalations.
Act as the quarterback across teams to remove roadblocks and accelerate decisions.
Represent the voice of the customer internally.
Support successful onboarding of new services, product launches, and transitions as needed.
Commercial Forecasting & Operational Discipline
Maintain accurate forecasts, renewal visibility and pipeline tracking.
Drive account reviews, risk assessments, and reporting.
Monitor key metrics including adoption, performance and sentiment.
Partner with leadership on prioritization and resource planning.
Market Insight & Continuous Improvement
Stay informed on industry trends and bring insight to customers.
Surface customer feedback and competitive insights to inform strategy.
Identify patterns and recommend improvements across accounts.
Contribute to playbooks and best practices to scale globally.
Skills and Expertise Required
8+ years of experience in account management, customer growth or strategic sales in high-growth technology companies
Proven success in a hybrid hunter/farmer role, with experience managing and expanding enterprise accounts, leading renewals, and building executive relationships while uncovering new growth opportunities within complex customer organizations.
Strong executive presence and communication skills.
Commercial acumen and negotiation experience.
Ability to work cross-functionally across Customer Success, Product, Solutions, Delivery, Finance and Legal
Strong operational rigor (forecasting, planning, reviews).
Customer-first, solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred
Experience in media technology, broadcast technology, SaaS, cloud infrastructure or streaming/video platforms.
Familiarity with broadcasters, OTT platforms, FAST channels, distributors, and publishers.
Comfort in a matrixed, global organization.
Base Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000 USD annually, plus a competitive sales incentive plan that rewards performance and offers strong earning potential for high achievers. In accordance with local pay transparency laws, this reflects the expected base pay range for this role in the United States. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, training, and location.
