Job Description
Receive and prepare surfaces to paint in accordance with project requirements and perform routine maintenance on paint shop and painting tools. Prior painting and/or warehouse experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Paint surfaces
- Project set up of materials and components.
- Perform routine maintenance on Paint Booth and associated equipment
- Record keeping as it pertains to tasks performed and time spent on specific projects.
- Perform regular checks on flow and viscosity of paint to ensure proper application.
- Perform regular cleaning of paint shop floor and equipment.
- Perform regular checks on ventilation system to ensure functionality.
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and working areas in clean, neat, and orderly condition; use prescribed safety equipment and follow safety rules.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Prior industrial painting or warehouse experience
- Ability to use painting equipment
- Mechanically inclined
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Equipment Used
- Paint mixer and/or sprayer
- Overhead rigging equipment
- Forklift
Physical Requirements
- Ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to visually identify and distinguish colors.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and/or under difficult lighting.
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not
limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots
- Ability to pass required Medical Evaluations; Respirator Physical Exam.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
