Position Summary:
We are currently hiring Spanish Speaking CNA and Caregivers to join our growing team.
As a caregiver with Amada, you’ll assist seniors with daily activities, provide companionship, and help them maintain dignity and independence in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor client well-being and report changes as needed
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients and their families
What We’re Looking For:
- Must speak fluent Spanish
- Must have passport, valid driver's license and social security number
- Must be dependable and compassionate
- Comfortable providing non-medical personal care in a client's home
- Must have reliable transportation that you can drive to client's home (not get dropped off)
- Valid driver's license
- Must have current auto insurance if transporting clients
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must complete required onboarding
- Must show a negative TB test result within the last 6 months
- Must be able to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, and medication reminders
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and assist with transfers as outlined in the client care plan
- Ability to lift up to 25-40 pounds
- Must have a working smartphone for scheduling, communication, and EVV clock-in/clock-out requirements
- Weekend availability is required
