Urgently Hiring: Male CNA Caregiver – Evenings & Weekends Special Opportunity to Care for a Wounded Veteran

Amada Senior Care is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced male Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care for a wounded veteran. Due to the client's preferences, male caregivers are preferred for this position.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a veteran while providing dignified, person-centered care.

The client is a quadriplegic and requires total assistance with all activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, positioning, and daily routines. A Hoyer lift is used for all transfers, and while experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred, training can be provided.

The client lives with a strong family support system, and his parents are present and actively assist with transfers and other aspects of his care. This collaborative environment helps ensure quality care while providing support to the caregiver.

What You'll Do as an Amada Caregiver:

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility, and positioning.
• Safely operate a Hoyer lift for transfers (training provided if needed).
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the client's family and the Amada office team to ensure exceptional care.

What We Look for in Our Caregivers:

• Current CNA certification required.
• Male caregiver required due to the client's personal care needs and preferences.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate.
• Passion for helping others and providing exceptional care.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience with total care and Hoyer lifts preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
