AMADA’s Caregivers provide:

· Care to our clients at a professional level.

· Companionship and conversation.

· Assistance to seniors to help with their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and toileting.

· Light housekeeping / laundry / meal prep.

· Transportation.

· Medication reminders.

Do You Have What It Takes to Care with Love & Serve with Heart? Our Requirements:

· A true passion for caregiving and a desire to help others

· Pride in providing great care and customer service

· Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature

· Ability to follow care plans and work independently

· Willingness to provide and accept constructive feedback

· Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors

· Clear background check and references

· Obtain a negative TB test and provide proof of vaccination, potentially including COVID-19 vaccination

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

· CPR and First Aid certification (or complete within first 30 days of employment)

· At least 18 years old

Service Area: Cerritos, Artesia, Bellflower, Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens , Long Beach

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift and transfer clients when necessary
• Endurance to stand, sit, and participate in physical tasks for extended periods
• Clear vision and hearing to monitor and support client well-being
• Capable of delivering non-medical care, including:
• Bathing , dressing, toileting, and ambulation
• Meal preparation, transportation, hands-on feeding
• Companionship , lifting, transferring, and more
