YOUR ROLE AS A CAREGIVER
As an Amada caregiver, you'll provide dependable, compassionate support that helps seniors remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and social support to elderly clients
- Assisting with personal hygiene and personal care, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
- Assisting with mobility inside and outside the home, including doctor appointments and walks
- Planning and preparing meals
- Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while shopping
- Performing basic housekeeping duties
- Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly during emergencies
- Providing activities and assistance that support essential activities of daily living
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, supportive, and committed to providing quality care.
Qualifications include:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Ability and willingness to drive within a 25-mile radius of your home address
- Ability and willingness to work with both male and female clients
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Supportive, compassionate, and professional approach to client care
