JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Sub-Assembler is responsible
for assembling a variety of components as part of the overall machine
assembly process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles
sub-assemblies, including, but not limited to, panels, band wheels,
upper plates, doors, hydraulic units, etc. Checks and resolves minor
operational problems and works with engineering to solve fit or
mechanical problems. May be required to build electrical panels, which
include electrical components and wiring. Optional - Uses powered
industrial truck (forklift) and other material moving machinery. Keeps
assigned work area clean, orderly, and safe. Adheres to all safety rules
outlined in the safety manual and employee handbook. Performs other
related duties as required and assigned. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: The Sub-assembler must have competent knowledge of
principles and practices in the following areas: 1. Ability to work well
with coworkers 2. Ability to read and understand blueprints 3. Ability
to use various measuring instruments 4. Ability to work independently 5.
Experience with basic machine tools 6. Demonstrated knowledge of basic
