Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented Guest Experience Specialist to manage reservations and support on-site guest interactions at Hotel del Coronado. This role is a hybrid of concierge-style booking support and occasional driving, ensuring a consistent, elevated experience for every guest.
This is a hands-on, guest-facing role — ideal for someone who understands hospitality, moves with urgency, and takes ownership of the full guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reservations for Ama Transportation services, including:
- Airport transfers (SAN)
- Black car service
- Group and special event transportation
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for Hotel del guests
- Assist with transportation inquiries
- Provide accurate pricing and service recommendations
- Convert walk-up inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Communicate with guests via phone, email, and in-person interactions:
- Confirm bookings
- Handle changes and special requests
- Ensure clear, proactive communication
- Maintain accurate booking records within our reservation systems
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure flawless execution
- Provide local knowledge and recommendations throughout San Diego (La Jolla, Gaslamp, Del Mar, etc.)
- Drive guests as needed, delivering a professional, safe, and high-end transportation experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, concierge services, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills — clear, professional, and guest-focused
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with San Diego and surrounding areas strongly preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
