Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily operations in our manufacturing warehouse. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the facility, ensuring production and shipping processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials
- Transport materials to production areas as needed
- Move finished products from production lines to storage or shipping areas
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of materials
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
