Customer Service Dispatcher towing

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of tow trucks and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in transportation management systems, and the ability to analyze logistics data effectively.

Duties

• Manage daily dispatch operations, including scheduling and routing of shipments.
• Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to optimize transportation planning and logistics.
• Coordinate with drivers, customers, and third-party motor club providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping and receiving documentation.
• Perform data entry tasks
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement in service efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls related to dispatching operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with towing and dispatch management systems and supply chain processes is highly desirable.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret logistics data effectively.
• Proficiency in typing and data entry with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
