🛠️ Position Details

Role: Construction Laborer

Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18 to $26 an hour, DOQ

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in general construction and remodeling projects and daily tasks
• General labor tasks involved in the remodel of houses 
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Helping with demolition, site, prep, framing, flooring, drywall, painting, basic installations, and finish work
• Operate power tools and basic machinery under supervision Using hand and power tools safely
• Adhering to safety protocols, including using PPE, and work in environments exposed to noise, fumes, and irritants.
• Take direction and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Report to the Lead Carpenter or Site Supervisor daily
• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism on all job sites

🔎 What We’re Looking For

Required Education: Not required. Basic reading and writing comprehension a must.

Required Experience:

• On-the-job training available.
• All experience levels welcome.
• 0-3 years in General Labor, or similar fields.
• 1 year of residential construction or general labor experience preferred.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to cooperate and work well with other employees and must be able to take direction from supervisors or more experienced workers.
• Experience with construction, remodeling, or home repairs (preferred, but we can train the right person!)
• Willingness to learn and take direction and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions .
• Physically able to materials, appliances, and heavy items in tandem with other assistance safely.

Hiring Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a background check
