Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process shipments using RF scanners and other inventory control tools to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Stock shelves, produce sections, and display merchandise neatly and attractively, adhering to merchandising standards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move large quantities of stock within the warehouse or sales floor.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records through inventory management systems to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support maintenance tasks like cleaning storage areas, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members on stocking projects, merchandising initiatives, and store organization to enhance overall store presentation.
- Handle online orders that needs to be pulled, processed and shipped.
- Communicate effectively across teams in multiple languages if applicable to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to manage stock levels accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking or shipment activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers.
- Knowledge of retail store operations or retail math can be beneficial in managing stock levels effectively.
