What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution and Warehousing Coordinator position at AM Logistics Group?
The Distribution and Warehousing coordinator position is responsible for the order fulfillment, inventory control, and distribution activities of finished goods.
The hours of work would be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
General duties include:
- Accurate data entry into the transportation management system.
- Generating and processing transportation documents
- Order verification
- Dispatching pickups to carriers
- Tracking and tracing of shipments in process.
- Seamless communication with customer base as well as other internal offices.
- Loading and unloading of trucks in the warehouse.
- SAP experience is preferred
- Manual movement of freight in the warehouse – up to 25 lbs daily, with up to 40 lbs on occasion.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills and good organizational and time management skills.
Forklift certification is required.
Systems and TMS experience is helpful. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Intermediate and above proficiency with Microsoft Suite products.
