What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at AM Industrial Group LLC?
AM Industrial Group is looking for an experience heavy equipment mechanic. This is a team oriented position and low stress environment. The candidate will be responsible for heavy equipment (machinery, forklits, trucks, cranes, telehandlers, etc.) mantenance to make sure they continue to run sefly at optimum efficiency. This is an indoor full time position, M-F first shift schedule, pay commensurate with the experience and competitive benefits.
Duties:
Maintains equipment and tools in good condition
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle/machinery functionality and longevity
Inspect machinery, engines and mechanical/electrical componenst to diagnose issue
Provide estimates – cost, time and effort
Conduct routine maintenance work necessary for vehicle functionality
Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues
Familiar with parts and components of complex machines and engines
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents
Skills:
Able to look at the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system, identify the issue and think about possible solutions
Attention to detail
Great good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Good communication and team player
At least 3-5 yers experience as a heavy equipment andmachinery mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical componenets of the equipment

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
