Experienced Florist – Floral Shop Manager & Design Specialist

AM Floral & Gifts is seeking a skilled and dependable florist to lead the day-to-day operations of our Fremont location. This role blends hands-on floral design with shop management, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both creative and organizational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the floral shop, including order management, inventory, scheduling, and customer service
- Design and execute sympathy arrangements such as casket sprays, easels, urn tributes, and custom memorial pieces
- Create floral designs for weddings, including bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony installations
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure timely completion of all floral orders
- Collaborate with ownership to uphold brand standards and contribute to seasonal planning and merchandising
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in floral design, with a strong portfolio of sympathy and wedding work
- Comfortable managing shop operations and working independently
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer communication
- Ability to lift and move floral materials and work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
- Passionate about flowers and creating meaningful designs for life’s most important moments
