Role Description

AM Creative is seeking a Part-Time Content Creator (Chicago-Based) to support ongoing content creation for one of our clients.

This role will focus on capturing engaging social media content both in-office and at off-site locations and delivering assets back to the AM Creative team.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for content, is comfortable working independently, and understands how to balance creativity with professionalism in client-facing environments. We’re looking for someone who is excited to collaborate closely with our team, contribute ideas, and help bring brands to life through thoughtful, high-quality content.

This is a part-time contractor position averaging up to 20 hours per month. Compensation starts at $25/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in content creation, social media, marketing, or a related creative field
• Portfolio demonstrating previous photo and video content work (social content preferred)
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Comfortable capturing content independently using iPhone and/or camera equipment
• Strong understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and visual storytelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing environments
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines independently
• Ability to receive creative direction and execute content consistently with brand guidelines
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a remote team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally throughout the Chicago area
• Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices
• Agency or brand-side experience is a plus
