Have you or your family been impacted by Alzheimer's or a related dementia? Here's a fun way to give back and make a difference in your community! We are looking for passionate Alzheimer's Ambassadors to serve on the Do What You Love to END ALZ Volunteer Committee across South Carolina. You can help the Alzheimer’s Association realize our vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia, by helping with the Do What you Love to END ALZ event in your community.
Timeline & Commitment We have two 6 month terms but welcome volunteers year round also. The Fall term runs from August to January and the Spring term runs January to July. The role requires a commitment of 1-2 hours a week. The work is flexible and we try to tailor your volunteer experience to your interests and needs.
Getting Started New volunteers are on-boarded to the team monthly on an ongoing basis. Local staff will help you get trained and provide ongoing support such as scripts and event materials.
