What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician position at Alyeska Tire?
We are looking for a full-time Tire Technician to join our Soldotna team. Services you will provide include, but are not limited to, Mounting, Balancing, Rotating and Repair of passenger and commercial tires. In addition, you will participate in the maintenance (cleaning, inventory etc.) of the entire building. You will report to the Store Manager or the Assistant Manager.

This position requires that you maintain a valid drivers license. Any change in status must be reported to your Manager immediately.
Responsibilities
- Be courteous to customers at all times (no foul language or swearing).
- Must be able to meet and greet customers.
- Must be able to answer the telephone from time to time.
- Must have a basic knowledge of tire products.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds approximately 5 feet off the ground.
- Must be able to bend at the knees and be flexible enough to work in awkward positions.
- Must be able to climb ladders to a height of 12 ft.
- Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work with hands and have the manual dexterity to use misc. hand tools (hammer, screwdriver etc.).
