Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Planner to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape community development and sustainable growth. The Planner will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive plans, conduct research, and produce detailed reports that inform decision-making processes.
Duties
- Responsible for ongoing move coordination. Engages clients, including senior management, to determine block planning and any special requirements for group and weekly moves. Coordinate drawings and move orders with moving vendors, warehouse porters, IT and maintenance staff for weekly work requests.
- Maintains accurate seating/space utilization records, working with ARCHIBUS and AutoCAD.
- Create detailed drafts and visualizations for proposals using Adobe Creative Suite and CAD applications.
- Keep furniture inventory, ARCHIBUS data base and standard sheets current.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project findings and recommendations effectively.
- Manage project schedules through effective project management techniques ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Perform site assessments, environmental impact studies, and feasibility analyses for various development projects.
- Receive and manage customer move and campus space requests via SAP Work Order system.
- Support community engagement efforts by preparing visual materials and participating in public meetings.
- Monitor project progress from conception through implementation while ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- BS in Interior Design or related field (preferred) or 3 years of relevant experience
- Must be AutoCAD proficient.
- Strong project scheduling and management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to space plan and knowledge of architectural building codes is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Ability to read construction drawings at a level required to review and approve layout plans drawn by a designer and explain plans to furniture and equipment installers.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
