About the Role:
ALWAYSNEAR HOME CARE LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to supervising staff
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Document care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Active and valid CNA or PCA certification in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Atlanta, GA area
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work 3 Days a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12pm-6pm
