General Laborer – Lumber Mill

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Work Schedule: 4-Day Workweek – 3-Day Weekends!

Always There Staffing is hiring a General Laborer for a lumber production facility in Aitkin, Minnesota!

Are you dependable, hardworking, and looking for a hands-on job with a great schedule? We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join a growing team in Aitkin, MN.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working with their hands, and being part of a production team. Previous lumber mill or manufacturing experience is preferred, but candidates who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply!

Enjoy a consistent Tuesday–Friday schedule, competitive starting pay of $20.00 per hour, and three-day weekends!

Duties

• Stack, sort, and move lumber throughout the production facility.
• Assist with operating saws, moulders, and other lumber processing equipment.
• Follow established lumber quality and stacking standards.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and inventory.
• Learn to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance.
• Support daily production goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and attend required safety meetings.
• Perform additional general labor and production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience in lumber mills, woodworking, manufacturing, or production preferred.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and attention to safety.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and lumber products.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
