Always In Motion (AIM) is hiring an energetic, reliable After‑School Basketball Coach who enjoys working with elementary‑age children. We’re looking for someone who can teach basketball fundamentals, lead fun drills, and create a positive, encouraging environment for young athletes.
Job Details
- Position: After‑School Basketball Coach
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Location: Local elementary schools (AIM partner campuses)
Responsibilities
- Teach basic basketball skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork
- Lead structured, high‑energy activities for elementary‑age students
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and AIM leadership
- Model reliability, teamwork, and positive coaching
Requirements
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience working with children preferred
- Basketball coaching or playing experience a plus
- Strong communication and classroom‑management skills
