What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Associate position at Always Home Pet Services?
Do you love working with dogs? Even 20 dogs at the same time? Are you 18 or older?
This can be a PERFECT position for some, but if you are looking for an easy job, this one is NOT FOR YOU! This job is enjoyable but hard work! Pay raises frequently offered.
If you like interacting with both canines and humans, consider joining our staff at Always Home Dog Daycare (...you can bring your dog to work with you free!).
In general, the more you are available, the more hours you can get. At minimum, you need to be available for multiple shifts of 6am-2pm or 12pm-8pm each week!
Must be 18 or older to be employed with us!
We keep an ongoing job search open for enthusiastic team members, as our staff works in teams and we are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
At this job, you will:
- Work and play with LOTS of dogs simultaneously
- Perform and develop enrichment activities for all types of dogs
- Interact with dog owners
- Clean floors, walls, dog dishes, etc!
The successful candidate must love dogs of all breeds, be strong willed and able to command a room of dogs using only positive reinforcement techniques. They must show initiative, be willing to get dirty cleaning up after dogs and keep the daycare spotless. This is a physically demanding role.
Our employees must be willing to learn, experienced with computers, and be courteous with customers.
Previous dog experience and first aid is a great asset but not required.
